Flexible seating encourages students to find a way to stay calm, focused and helps them be their best learning selves. My 4th and 5th graders enjoy moving all over the classroom as they complete their works. However, due to our limited classroom space, I would like to extended our learning environment beyond the door of our room. My students will love being able to choose seating options as they work independently in our classroom. I have seen fantastic results from classrooms with open seating options for their students. I know my students would benefit as well, and I eager to see their excitement, as well as engagement, increase with our new seating options. Help me give my students the empowerment by having a choice in how they're learning each day!
