These materials are needed for the creation of our brand new Maker Space. We are excited for this Maker Space because we know that this space will ignite student's learning and help them discover new skills and passions.
Students will use the space to build STEAM skills such as building simple machines with LEGOs, using the design thinking process to test out different paper airplane models, learning how to knit and building and coding robots.
We need an iPad to use for coding programs, books to spark our students’ imaginations, yarn and knitting needles for knitting projects, a sewing machine and iron for sewing projects, building blocks for creating simple machines and other structures, duct tape for artistic creations and puzzles for students to develop their problem solving skills.
These activities will help build students’ academic skills, cooperation and creative thinking. We are so excited to see what creative discoveries our students will make in the year to come.
