Support Mrs. Dunn's classroom with a gift that fosters learning.
This school year brings a lot of uncertainties, but one that will stay consistent is fostering a love for reading and connecting to characters in my classroom. Now, more than ever, these students need diverse literature. They need to see themselves and their cultures reflected in the stories I have intentionally chosen to share.
One of my goals as an educator is to curate a meaningful classroom library. By donating to this project, you will be providing my classroom with multiple opportunities to build a positive community from the start of the school year. Books are a great way to start having conversations with children. With your help, we will be successful at reading a picture book every day!
Also, I have a handful of students who have chosen to learn from home. Allowing this option is a blessing for some families, but it becomes an obstacle when trying to build relationships. With these picture books, I can quickly and easily record my read aloud to help them feel like they are in the room with us!
