My students are eager and willing learners! Together in our Mild-Moderate Special Education classroom we learn academics as well as life skills. Flexible seating is critical to helping students have choices in the classroom. Visual timers help students stay on task, especially with non-preferred activities. My students learn best with interactive and hands activities. Hands on activities, especially with lively graphics, help them engage in the material presented in the regular curriculum. These activities also help create an atmosphere that is fun and exciting, which helps my students have positive feelings about schools.Help diverse learners work independently by providing flexible seating and visual timers for independent work time and classroom station activities.
