With these fun and flexible seating options, kids can sit where they want and with whom they choose. As an adult, we enjoy the ability to move around in our environment, and the same goes for our kids! My students spend 8 hours a day with me. I want to provide a classroom that is warm, welcoming and inviting but meets the different learning styles for my students.
Having flexible seating allows kids to move around as they learn and grow at their own pace. This will build their confidence in making choices to better their style of learning.
Flexible seating gives students the option to move around and wiggle while learning at the same time. Students who are given the opportunity to choose their seating have more ownership and build their confidence in decision making as well academically. Having flexible seating in my classroom will be a blessing for my students because they are making decisions on how they will choose to learn. Also, it is a win for everyone!
