First graders love using dry erase boards for just about every subject. Giving students the opportunity to use dry erase markers and model learning on the board just like a teacher makes learning so much fun.
Something our class loves to do is work in centers and small groups. We normally use our circle table, but a horseshoe table would be even better. It gives students a place to comfortably conference with the teacher and also work together with their friends. I would love to have a table in this shape with a dry erase top in my classroom to make learning even more engaging and exciting for all!
