The center materials in this project will help my students learn language, reading, math, fine motor and independent work skills. The fine motor centers will teach necessary hand grasps to promote functional writing skills. The mathematic centers will provide a fun and engaging way for students to improve 1:1 correspondence and number sense. The language centers will help students practice building words and matching basic pictures to words. Kids with autism tend to require more options to differentiate instruction in order to improve necessary work skills. Each of these materials will allow my students to work independently as well as with a peer.
