Our book club brings so much joy to the students involved. Each student gets a copy of the current book we are reading and it is theirs to keep. Through the book club, we are encouraging a love of reading, developing literacy skills (reading, speaking, listening, writing), and building students' home libraries. When our book club meets, book discussions are student-led and activities are engaging and related to the reading. Finally, our meeting ends with lunch and voting on future genres. By donating to our book club, you will be putting great books in the hands and homes of many appreciative students.
