Using the Breakout EDU Kit, students will attempt to break into a variety of locked boxes. There will be different activities students need to complete in order to open the boxes. For example, they might need to find the coordinates of Tokyo, Japan and enter them into a combination lock. Or they might need to unscramble a list of vocabulary words or put countries in order of population. Some of the activities will require analyzing a text, while others will require putting together a puzzle. Groups of 4-5 students will race against the clock to see which group can escape the fastest!
My hope is to provide students with a fun way to use their knowledge and work collaboratively.
