These tools will give students a chance to work through their emotions by tuning into their bodies. Each of the items in the project has been selected to give students sensory input to help them visualize their emotions. In the list of items requested there are also books to help guide students and teachers connect and process emotions through stories.
When students are in a heightened emotional state it is difficult for them to engage in the classroom. The goal of this project is to help students process and return to the classroom ready to learn.
