I have requested basic calculators for my students who require them on their IEPs. I have old ones that I inherited, and they are on their last leg. These calculators will be used daily in class and on the tests the students take. I would love for all of my kids to succeed. I want to make sure every student gets the best chance possible to succeed in sixth grade; I know my students with accommodations would benefit from these calculators. Calculators are not allowed to be used across sixth grade, but students with IEPs are allowed if it is one of their accommodations.
