Make a donation Mrs. Stonebraker can use on her next classroom project.
As a first year teacher I am learning every day what a classroom needs to be successful. I have taken many notes on the items our classroom needs and we need your help! I am asking for these materials to help my students be in an environment where they are able to focus on learning while still being able to wiggle. As a kindergarten teacher I am a firm believer in moving while learning. The chair bands will go on every chair to help the children learn to work while still being able to move. The wobble cushions will go on the carpet where the extra wiggly children can wobble in their spot while focusing on the lesson. The noise cancelling headphones will be used for students who need them to complete their best work.
I believe children are never too young to learn a sense of responsibility, with your donation the children will be getting access to organizational tools to instill independence and responsibility in kindergarten. The white crates will go on the end of each table with a colored paper bin on top of each. The students’ morning work and papers throughout the day will go in these bins for the group leader to pass out. The rainbow cart will be the area for early finisher activities. It will be the children's responsibility once they finish one activity to put away the work their work then find an engaging activity from the early finisher cart to keep growing their brain.
This donation will help create a highly focused classroom as well as instill responsibility at a very young age.
