I find that working with different type of material is always fun. For example, when I teach The House or The Family, my students use construction paper, colors, markers, glue to build up little projects and write as well words or phrases in Spanish. I do not just teach them grammar and give them worksheets for them to fill out, instead, I try to incorporate art work in my lesson plans, as well as visuals (Flash cards or make a Word Wall), for this reason, this material would be a big help for me and my students.
Since I teach a foreign language I do not want them to feel bored or ever think that they cannot do this. So, I try to figure out what they could enjoy and learn at the same time. By doing different types of activities I can engage my students to be on task and do their work, they learn, they work, they are happy!
