I am a special education teacher in the Cudahy school district. I service K4, K5, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade students. One of the things that I am looking forward to providing in my room is a welcoming well stocked calming area for students to take breaks or to meet their sensory needs. If funded my project will provide a space that students sorely need. This space will allow them to work on social skills, emotional regulation and advocation for their sensory needs.

About my class
