My favorite time of the day is when I can do read alouds with my library students. I love finding books that the kids will enjoy to go along with my lessons for the week. The kids really enjoy when they have the freedom to look around and find books to checkout for the week. The library is essential to a school because this is where students are able to learn to love to read and choose books at their independent level. They can pick and choose topics from the selections that spark their interests. These books will be used in class, as well as at home with their families.
