I have chosen games to provide a fun and inviting way to remediate students who struggle in reading. The games I have chosen are reinforcing the skills/standards that have to be taught in order for students to become fluent readers.
The games I have chosen reinforce the 5 components of reading which are Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Vocabulary, Fluency, and Comprehension.
These games will help me with remediation of Kindergarten to 4th grade students, as well as provide a fun learning environment for students who are having difficulty in learning to read.
