All of the supplies will allow students to have individualized supplies to help with COVID concerns. The headphones will be useful for our audiobook literature circles. Not only will students have headphones at school but those students who are at home can have a pair as well. Along with have a personal set of headphones each student will have their own pencil cases with individual writing supplies that will allow us to analyze and annotate the text for further understanding of the texts. By donating to our project you will be helping to provide students with individualized supplies that will increase their engagement with books! All of the supplies will be used to either engage or incentive students and help them fall in love with books. Standards: CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.5.2 Determine a theme of a story, drama, or poem from details in the text, including how characters in a story or drama respond to challenges or how the speaker in a poem reflects upon a topic; summarize the text. CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.5.5 Explain how a series of chapters, scenes, or stanzas fits together to provide the overall structure of a particular story, drama, or poem.
