For the past few years we've been creating art with hand-me-down supplies and materials. Our paint brushes have become brittle and stubbed despite tender care over the years. It would be nice to start them off with new supplies. Our watercolor pallets are depleted down to small grains in which the kids still work from and do their best with.
From illustrations of their own stories to surreal landscapes of their dreams, my kiddos create the most amazing paintings and I don't want the lack of supplies to hold them back from their creativity. Every work they produce has so much love and care put into them. We use a lot of acrylics and watercolors in both paintings and sculptures. They are very creative about coming up with the best technique and material to use for each project.
Despite the lack of supplies last year, they still worked hard with what we had and didn't complain. Some even made their own watercolors by soaking old markers in water to make liquid watercolors. As much as I love their inventiveness, I would love to have a fresh set available to them. Helping us get a jump start to these amazing kids creation would mean the world to them. Thank you for your consideration from the young Bergman artists.
