Digital cameras will be a great way to teach students about camera angles and lighting. Students can then edit their photos using computer editing software and create fun, interesting, and long lasting photographic memories.
Using the skills they develop from photography, the students can easily transition into cinematography, using their experience with angles and lighting to make interesting short videos and exciting mini movies.
Cinematography is just one aspect of the learning experience. The students will also practice screen writing and directing. Creating action scenes, instructional videos, or just plain fun.
The idea is to give students an opportunity to explore careers in audio video entertainment, and maybe encourage the next major producer or director.
