The subscription to both Flocabulary and Brain Pop will engage my students in learning. Flocabulary and Brain Pop are two resources that allow even more access for my students' learning.
Both websites have exciting and engaging animated videos that help students master content standards and build vocabulary. When I play a video from Flocabulary at the beginning of a lesson, all eyes are on the board and are engaged. As the video is playing many heads are bopping, and many students are singing along with the songs. When the video is over, students are begging to watch the video again. The videos on Flocabulary allow me to get the students engaged in a lesson, and it is a great lead into the main part of the lesson.
Besides, Flocabulary being exciting and engaging, BrainPop also has great animated videos that help explain concepts in core subject concepts. For me, I find that the BrainPop videos are short and sweet and to the point. With the video getting straight to the key concept, it allows the student to really focus on the concept. My students also enjoy taking the quizzes after a video. I use BrainPop as a way to introduce a lesson, and as a way to sum up a lesson.
Both of these subscriptions will be a great addition to my students learning!
