鈥淐oming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success.鈥-Henry Ford Contrustructing an environment that fosters collaboration, discourse, and an interdependence on one another is key to success in the 21st century classroom. When students explore, engage, and experience learning together through collaboration and project based learning, everyone wins. In order to achieve this goal, the old, tired single student desks of the past need to be retired. These Flower Activity Tables will assist my students in coming together to form learning groups during our daily activities that involve teamwork, discourse, and student-guided learning. Students will have equal access to learning materials and will be able to easily discuss concepts with all of their teammates. These desk will also alleviate overcrowding due to the extra space the individual students desks currently take up. We look forwarding to working in an environment that celebrates collaboration and creativity. Thank you.
