This book is for our unit-Dear Martin. Students will read the book Dear Martin and discuss how the book correlates to real life experiences. We will look at character development and how the main characters change over time. This ties in to our larger unit on story elements of plot, theme, character, setting, and conflict.
Currently, we have NO text so we are seeking a real-life text that students can easily relate to to enhance the reading and hopefully spark a joy for reading that they currently have not yet mustered.
Please help me help my students learn to LOVE reading!
