In today's society our children have become accustomed to the daily use of smartphones. Smart phones have taken the place of socialization, peer interactions and even books!
Over the past few years I have noticed a rise in cell phone use during school hours. Our district's policy is that cell phones are turned off and stored in the student's bookbag. However, students do not feel safe leaving these pricey gadgets unattended. The excessive reliance on these devices has negatively affected the learning process.
Please help my class by supplying us with a cell phone locking station. This will ensure that all smartphones are docked securely during instructional time.
