Teaching in a school where half of the students receive free or reduced-price lunch and is half Hispanic can have its challenges. One of those challenges is giving all students equal learning devices and equipment. We are a one to one iPad school, but not all students have headphones to listen to instructional videos, listen and watch YouTube videos, or listen to other students' video presentations. Having a class set of headphones would give equity to all students.
Free education needs to be equal among all students. An Apple TV will also aid the students in giving their presentations and to learn from instructional presentations. My students will benefit from having headphones and from an Apple TV.
