My students will use this iPad during center time for reading and math. Desk top computers with a mouse are too difficult for my special needs students. Many do not have the fine motor skills to manipulate a mouse. Using an iPad with touch screen will allow my students to access digital material and a variety of learning apps. Special education students deserve specialized instruction at their level via technology such as this iPad. This iPad will provide educational apps that are not accessible through our Chromebooks or desktops. These apps will include letter identification, number sense, shapes, colors and audible books to my K-2 classroom.
