Our students love to read books. For example, they like the rhymes and rhythm of Pete the Cat and the silliness of David books. The books in this project will allow two classrooms of special needs students to have books to read. Due to Covid-19, books will need to isolated for several days between uses. The number of books allows us to ensure that each child will have a choice in what book they read.
This project will allow our students to learn to read and help create our classroom libraries. By donating to this project, you will help our students grow their love of reading and improve their language skills from reading or being read too. Our classrooms are new this year, so my co-teacher and I are starting our classroom libraries from the ground up.
