An incubator for hatching chicks in our classroom will provide an excellent science opportunity for my students. My students will get to experience first hand a life cycle of an animal. Students will be able to monitor living eggs and then track the chicks' progress after they hatch. This incubator is top notch and provides a clear viewing window for students to observe the process for 21 days. Students will then get to experience the exciting time of hatching day as well. During the 21 day process, we will extend our learning by reading books and drawing the life cycle from eggs to chicks. This hands-on learning experience of hatching chicks will leave a lasting impression for the students in my classroom!
