Students are learning how to create perspective art. From one, two, and three perspective drawings of scenery, streets, and cities.
We are requesting sketchbooks. We are studying the elements of art and these sketchbooks would keep all their practice drawings in one place so they can use them as a tool and a resource for all future artwork. We plan to use sketch pencils in these books to showcase shading of 2 and 3D art by practicing different lines and shapes. We also plan on using watercolors to add color and tone to their scenery drawings, and paint to show texture and form. These are just a few examples of what we are planning on learning this year.
