This year I am moving into a larger room to allow my biological students to have more space for our hands on activities. The space in the room is amazing and allows the students to have amble room to participate in hands on activities! Unfortunately the room has no shelving for any biological supplies. What this means is that there is no proper storage available for glassware and chemicals to be kept safe from my students.
This semester I want to do a lot of hands on activities with my students but I can't follow through with these labs without a place to house the necessary equipment.
Without this cabinet the glassware and chemicals would be housed in another room. My students would have to wait their turn to participate in labs. My students deserve to be able to be on their own schedule and move at their own pace.
