My students are full of life and potential! They are excited about learning every day. They love being part of our school and all activities that we have to offer. All of my students live in areas of poverty and face challenges with that everyday; school can be the only constant that provides stability in their lives. All students learn in different ways and with differing abilities. Nearly all of them are "different thinkers" and require differentiated instruction to meet their needs.
This iPad will allow them to see material in different ways. It will help my students learn syntax, grammar, and vocabulary skills in a fun and engaging way. It will allow students with articulation errors to record and hear their errors and see a different approach to making their sound correct. For the non-verbal students that I service, trials with different voice output programs can be life changing. Imagine not being able to speak and then being given a way to communicate! An Ipad can give them a voice and everyone deserves a voice. Help me give them a voice!
