In my classroom I believe in giving students a chance to choose where they sit and how they learn. It is difficult to ask energetic 8 and 9 year olds to sit still seven hours a day and they love that they can make that choice for themselves.
Having an actual standing desk will give my students another learning place option. Right now I have a table lifted as high as it will go but is still too short. Despite being too short my students love standing at the back of the room at it. Having a desk that can transition easily between standing and sitting will be a welcome addition especially since this desk has a fidget bar.
