Have you heard of flexible seating? This is the latest "classroom craze" where teachers allow students to choose where they want to sit! This strategy teaches students about personal choice and responsibility!
Our classroom is in need of these "focused seating" options because I am a firm believer that personal choice can optimize learning! These bouncing ball seats and stools will allow more of my students to practice making personal and responsible choices and help them FOCUS in the classroom!
Rather than calling this flexible seating, my classroom calls this FOCUSED SEATING because the goal is to help them understand that choosing their seat can help them focus on the task and learning goal.
Will you partner with Room 9 in providing tools that will help them be the most successful learners they can possibly be?! We appreciate you!
