Most of my students are high spirited and are very eager to learn math through the use of current teaching tools. They appreciate structured and up to date teaching tools as a way for them to connect math concepts to real life situation. Unfortunately, many of them are from homes and lives that often are focused on the most immediate of human needs. Many of them receive free or reduced lunch and come from homes that do not own much of these technology. The school that these students attend consist of 80% of students who are economically disadvantaged and with diverse student population.
