The wobble seats, bean bag chairs, stand up desks and cushions will add more choices for my students to be able to choose where they can learn the best. Students can't sit all day in a desk and chair. They need to be able to move, have choices and be comfortable while learning.
They need to feel empowered to make choices and take responsibility for their own learning. These items will help our classroom be full of choices and an inviting area to learn.
Since we have a 3/4 combination class at our school, I take the 6- 3rd graders for math. During math time I have 31 students in my class. The seating choices allow room for everyone without having to have 31 desks in my classroom.
