Learning in a fun way is extremely important especially in Pre-K. Their play should serve an educational purpose as well. These toys and supplies can do both. Putting puzzles together improves memory, increases their IQ, and improves problem solving abilities. Playing with educational toys will help promote the development of problem solving skills, nurture and incite their creativity and encourage their imagination. These are just a few examples of what educational toys can do for a young learner.
These toys have a dual purpose: Learning and having fun! We will use them at school during directed play, small group time and during free play. Play with a purpose is our goal.
Some of these toys are replacements for those that have been in use for years and are worn out. Others are new toys that have been developed to teach needed skills in a different way. All will be conducive to fun play time that includes learning.
