My students will use the Chrome books to access math and science explorations as well as research on topics assigned.
By funding my project your contribution will greatly enhance their academic achievement and ability to use technology. It is my desire that each student in my class will one day have their own Chrome book to use. Right now they share 5-6 IPads periodically between 3-5 so they have to wait their turn causing much confusion as to who is next. These Chrome books will allow them more time to research Math, Science and topics assigned in the classroom. At home they will be able to show their parents how to search the internet in English thereby helping them understand how to perform searches also.
Early exposure to technology awakens their mind to STEAM careers. The earlier students are exposed to technology, I believe, the sooner they will be able to shorten the gap that exists between Bilingual students and the general education population. This affords them the chance to be on level with their peers as they enter middle school.
