Why do I call the project the American dream? Because most of the students in my kindergarten class do not speak English, their families are immigrants and English is their second language. So developing reading and math skills is a challenge without the adequate material to support them in the acquisition of the new language. The resources like Touch & Read Phonics Match - Complete Set, First Little Readers - Level A, Solve It! Addition Magnetic Boards and all of the others that I'm requesting are a big support to reach our goals for reading and math. In Kindergarten, reading and math skills development are important and the foundation for the success in all the next levels. My students are young children and need resources that motivate them to learn and develop their skills.
