Middle school students often wonder where they fit in this crazy world in which they live. They are just starting to notice the things going on in the local and world news around them. It is important for them to learn to navigate current events, identify bias, and discover what role they play within it.
Middle school is the best time for students to discover how the history of tomorrow is made today, and how it will affect them currently and in the future. For students to learn that they have the power to affect change; how they can impact their world right now as a twelve or thirteen year old and truly make a difference.
