I am the only music teacher to over 900 students and my classroom is an essential release for them. Unfortunately, our school is not blessed with many instruments and we're often found improvising or having to wait long periods of time before they get a chance to put the skills they've learned to practice.
Learning to play a new instrument has the power to bring our classroom community closer while building massive amounts of confidence and pride in the process.
My students have rhythm in their souls and are always singing and dancing around campus. To be able to sit down with their very own instrument in their laps is a day I simply cannot wait to see!
