Many of my Kindergarteners are from the inner city and are recent immigrants. My classroom is very diverse which is great because we all learn from each other. Everyone is different and everyone is special. Most of the population at our school receives free lunch. I want all my students to learn about protecting the environment. I really emphasize the four "R"s, reduce, reuse, recycle, and READ.
