The students in my classroom rarely have the basic supplies needed for school. Usually, they can't afford them or their parents just won't buy them. Access to pencils and notebooks in the classroom will allow them to take notes in order to study for their quizzes and tests.
The snacks I would like for my classroom will serve two purposes. First, my students don't always get enough to eat at home. The snacks will help them get through the day, and may make up for a little bit of the food they miss at home. Second, students like to be rewarded for their work. The cookies and candy will motivate them to do a good job.
