As our class delves further into the sciences, the equipment and materials needed to conduct the labs and inquiry-based activities can cluster up a classroom quickly. Teaching biology, anatomy, and environmental science in the same room means various types of materials and equipment. Dissections can be even more messy if the tools don't have proper storage!
To create a clean and organized science classroom, our class requires additional shelves to place microscopes and organism specimens. Although scientists may be eccentric, my students are being taught to keep their science notebooks organized as a way to teach them important skills that will extend beyond their experience in science and my classroom.
My students are very hard-working and truly on their way to becoming scientists and informed citizens that will go into our rapidly developing world with bright and curious minds!
