We plan to start with watercolor pictures. So the paper, watercolors, sharpies (for outlining the painting's individual characteristics), and paint brushes will be the first items used. Our first project will be flowers.
After that we get to try our hands at oil pastels. They will literally end up on our hands as we create! I've never seen clean hands after coloring with oil pastels.
Then we move on to charcoals. For this we will use the charcoal sticks and charcoal pencils. They will learn that black and white pictures can be quite stunning. Finally, we will get to use the color pencils.
