Kindergarteners are passionate, curious, and active learners. They love to wiggle and move as they learn with their whole body. These materials will provide students with opportunities to move and build core strength as their mind stays focused on the academics! As adults, we often like to twirl pens or chew gum when trying to focus, the Gyrobi hand figits allow kindergarteners the same opportunity in an age-appropriate and fun way. The bouncy bands and seat cushions allow students to wiggle safely in their space as they learn to read and write! On rainy days, the rock around and hop ball will be perfect breaks for students seeking a release for their extra energy.
Providing students with materials that incorporate movement into learning will help students stay engaged and learn at optimum levels. Often times, transitions between subjects can be challenging for students, as they need to reset their mind and concentrate on a new subject. With the yoga cards, we'll be able to take fun and meaningful breaks between activities so that students are able to enter the new subject with renewed energy and focus. Helping students joyfully achieve their best is our classroom's goal, and we know we can meet our goal with these movement materials!
