At such a critical time in their reading development, my students will be excited to have their own books to read at home via distance learning. These books will be used at home and will continue to spark students’ interest in reaching their short and long term reading goals. The books will also be used to connect writing projects through the year. These books will truly make a difference for my students, who are mostly from low income households.
