I have a very unique group of students with special needs in my classroom. We have a wide range of ages and abilities and all of them come with different needs and varying challenges they face as they try to learn. The new flexible seating options will allow them to take charge of their learning and be able to self-regulate. From my littlest kiddos to my biggest of friends there will be something for everyone!
With the sensory input they need from their Flex-Space Ball Seats and Wobble Cushions they will be able to focus and attend to their new , Alpha-Bots, Can Do Reading Games set including; vocabulary, reading comprehension, text features and more! Their new magnetic math manipulatives will be on board to help them solve any problem put in front of them!
The classroom community we have built is truly something special! Coming from a Title 1 school my students face many challenges inside and outside the classroom. This project is my way of trying to support them and give them access to better materials that will make their educational life a bit easier. The future of the world is in my classroom and I want to support them, encourage them and give them the tools they need to be the best students and young citizens they can be!
