Our rooms are extremely hot all year round and affect student learning due to high temperatures in the classroom. Our wing gets direct sunlight all day and heats up quickly. We also have special education students that have various medical needs such as asthma and allergies which makes it difficult to keep the windows open. These children need a cooler environment in order to create an optimal learning experience. It is extremely difficult for our students to focus and learn when temperatures reach 85-90 degrees inside the classroom. Even in the winter, it is warm due to our old heating vents. Please help cool us down!!
