Our 3rd-5th grade self-contained Autistic classroom students will benefit greatly from iPads with shockproof cases to be able to individualize instruction. The colored printer will be used to be able to properly present the material from the Unique Curriculum. Although the Unique curriculum is now able to be accessed digitally, some aspects need to be printed. These are things such as picture cue cards, calendars, and other informational aspects. The differentiated stories are aimed towards the different abilities and are printed in color to be laminated so that they are able to be used by different students a multitude of times. Both the digital and printable versions of this curriculum are interactive, the printable version is normally used for matching activities and different sorting activities. While this is an alternative curriculum aimed for students with Autism, the standards are related back to closely mirror the Louisiana Common Core State Standards.
