These supplies will allow my students to have rich and engaging learning experiences during center rotation time as they ease into in-person learning following the Covid-19 pandemic.
I have requested materials to purchase, laminate, store, and set up center activities that will engage my students in hands-on, collaborative learning with their peers- experiences that will help them during their transition to in-person learning. Students will be able to work with classmates on math and literacy games, phonics centers and small group instruction with reading rods, whiteboards, as well as washable and dry erase markers and pockets. Students will also participate in listening centers using headphones and a new boombox, which will enable my class to immerse themselves in great books! For our higher-level readers, independent reading using boxed sets of their favorite book series will now be possible. I have also requested funds towards Teachers Pay Teachers, to allow for the purchase of differentiated learning materials for Tier 1, 2, and 3 students.
These materials will help address a wide range of academic standards across the areas of literacy and mathematics. With your help, my students will be able to participate in small group and center activities to increase their reading and mathematics proficiency and work on social skills while collaborating with others!
