The use of books, white boards, letters, paper and writing materials are used to develop students per-literacy skills. These materials will give students multiple avenues to explore letters, writing, and reading skills.
By donating to this project you will help students develop knowledge in the alphabet, pre-writing skills, and pre-reading skills. The use of these materials will assist in the results students developing confidence in this area and increasing their academic achievement.
Books are some of the most important tools for a teacher when teaching letters vocabulary and literacy skills. Reading and building activities around books is an essential tool used to reach out and connect with students and help them find meaning in their classwork. The students use the magnetic letters to explore the shape and learn the vocabulary of the letters. While the construction paper and markers will allow students to create and explore their pre-writing skills at their tables. The magnetic write & wipe board can be used to help tell stories, teach lessons, and allow students to explore writing skills on a different surface as well as be a base for the magnetic letters to stick on. Combined all of these materials will give students multiple creative and fun options to explore and develop their pre-literacy skills
